Santiago Covarrubias is a visual journalist born and raised in the suburbs of Mexico City. His work is built upon the premise that there is no such thing as bad light or small stories. He has set himself apart from others in his field by producing aesthetic, compelling, and clean imagery. Santiago holds a Bachelor's in Communication Studies from Universidad Iberoamericana (MX) and a Master's in Arts, Entertainment and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago (US). He’s been published worldwide by several media outlets including: The Associated Press, Billboard, The Chicago History Museum, The Chicago Sun-Times, Grupo Reforma, La Jornada, Milenio Diario, The New York Times, and The University of Pennsylvania (UPenn).
